Maid in Hoboken began with a simple frustration: our founder, a longtime Hoboken resident, kept hearing the same story from friends and neighbors. They'd book a cleaner through some faceless app, and a different stranger would show up every time — inconsistent, rushed, and gone before the job was really done. After juggling a demanding career and a young family in a fourth-floor walk-up, she knew there had to be a better way to give busy people their weekends back.
So in 2013, she built the cleaning company she wished she could hire: a genuinely local team, trained to the same high standard, who treat every Hoboken apartment and Hudson County home as if it were their own.
